Terms of Service.
These terms govern your use of Rook Reports and the intelligence reports we deliver. They are written to be read. Where a clause carries a precise meaning, we say so plainly rather than burying it.
1 · The service
Rook Reports produces on-demand intelligence reports. You name a subject and a question; we return a graded, sourced report built by the Corvus engine and reviewed by an analyst.
A report is an analytic product. It reflects open-source collection and reasoned inference as of its delivery date. It is not legal advice, an audit, or a finding of liability.
2 · Orders & payment
An order is placed when you authorize payment on a case. Pricing is shown before you authorize; the tier, add-ons, and any cache discount are itemized on the ledger.
We accept card, PayPal, and Bitcoin via self-hosted BTCPay. Rush orders may require Lightning settlement. Prices are per report, with no contract or recurring charge unless stated.
3 · Delivery & formats
Reports are delivered to your portal as a standalone HTML file, raw JSON, and a print-ready PDF, per the formats shown at checkout. Stated SLAs are targets for a fresh build, not guarantees; cached reports deliver instantly.
A cached report under 7 days old is the same product sold to other clients at the cached price. We do not represent cached reports as exclusive.
4 · Use of reports
You may use a delivered report within your organization for your own decisions. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute a report as a standalone product without written permission.
The free library and Dossier entity pages are published for reading. You may cite and link to them with attribution.
5 · Accuracy & limits
Every report passes an adversarial red-team challenge and carries NATO Admiralty source grades and ICD 203 calibrated language so you can weigh the evidence yourself. Where a judgment rests on inference, the report says so.
Intelligence is probabilistic. We do not warrant that any estimate will prove correct, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a report beyond the amount you paid for it.
6 · Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
